Seamless and easy installation
I installed solar with Lumina as a reference from my neighbor who also used them. The sales process was very detailed and thorough. Gabriel came to my house and gave a very detailed presentation explaining every part of the process and the technology. I was interested in the technology side and Gabriel, being someone who used to do installs, was able to answer all my techy questions. The permitting process was the most annoying, but Lumina took care of all the paperwork for me with the county, my HOA, and Dominion. All I had to do was review documents and sign off. The process took a few months, but the holdup was not on Lumina's end. Once we got the final approval for the install, they scheduled it within a week. The inspection failed the first time, but for very minor, picky items which were quickly remedied. Once the inspection passed, turning the system on happening quite fast as well. Overall very happy with the installation and would recommend Lumina to anyone looking to install solar. They are local, very knowledgeable and thorough, and they take care of all the steps for you. The only minor feedback I had for them was to better set expectations of the process and timelines, but Gabriel took down that feedback and said he was going to bring that back to his management team so that they can implement changes in the future.

Great experience start to finish
I just had Lumina install a 47 panel system on my home in Bethlehem PA. Courtney was my person of contact throughout the design and installation process. She has been head and shoulders above every other design consultant I spoke to. I had four different solar companies quote a price and design. Lumina WAS THE BEST! Not the cheapest or the most expensive of the group but by far the most personable, helpful, and comfortable to deal with. The quality of the workmanship and cleanup by the installation crew and electricians was fantastic everyone will take the time to talk with you and insure your comfort and understanding of the system and involved processes. I highly highly recommend Lumina solar if you are thinking of making the switch. As a bonus they are also there to help with SREC and tax credits which can be a little confusing. Great company. Great product. Great experience.

Excellent Experience
We are very pleased with our experience with Lumina. We compared three companies and they won out on price, timing, sales process, and support. Christopher Richardson explained the whole process well in a friendly and unhurried manner. He was proactive in his follow up without being pushy. They handled all the details and installed the system in the time frame they had promised. They generally kept us well informed throughout the process.

Lumina performed and executed as they said they would
Lumina Solar provided an easy to follow plan with analysis of my home and potential benefits from a solar install. We elected to move forward with a 50 panel system that was installed at the end of December 2023. The Lumina team and especially the salesman (Andy Cimino) have been responsive and helpful in answering my many questions from the start of the process through completion of installation and fine tuning the tracking equipment/software. Last month I generated more electric power through solar than we used, I'm very excited to see what the summer months will bring! Lumina is a great company with a customer first approach.

We absolutely love Lumina Solar. Alex is very knowledgeable and was with us throughout the entire process. Installation was a breeze and the panels look beautiful on our roof. Great sales rep, took accountability for the company missteps
I researched a number of solar companies and spoke to many reps. Alex with Lumina was so laid back and not pushy, it was refreshing and seemed too good to be true. More research found the Lumina price was competitive, Alex just wasn't the type to force a sale on his time. He let me take my time, answered questions, gave guidance and tips on doing my own research. I've had solar for almost two years now and even though electric rates have gone up, my bill hasn't - and I received this when troubleshooting an issue with BGE: " Also, your electric usage is high. " I laughed when I read that, but I'm thankful for Alex's patience with me as I did what I felt was my due diligence prior to making a huge purchase for solar.

Switch to Solar Energy with Lumina Solar
From initial contact through permission to operate, Lumina Solar…and more specifically Gabriel Shabtai…stepped us through the whole process. We took about 4 months to decide to transition to solar energy, but never during that time was there any sales pressure. With his extensive experience with solar energy, Gabriel is truly an expert, and he used his expertise to patiently answer all our questions and help us learn about solar energy. Once we signed the contract, Lumina handled all the paperwork related to permits, interconnectivity with Delmarva, SRECs and rebates, which took a tremendous amount of pressure and responsibility off our shoulders. As a result, everything went smoothly, and 3 months later we’re generating electricity. We highly recommend going with Lumina, and Gabriel Shabtai is the absolute best.

Fast and Easy
Lumina Solar made everything easy. Ryan, my salesperson/project manager, was with me every step of the way and responded to all my questions quickly. The small bumps were taken care of quickly and without any work on my part. The project came in for the amount quoted and we were on-line several weeks ahead of projection. They even upgraded my panels at no extra charge. Installation was done quickly, and the team was neat and professional. I had a few small issues after commissioning and Ryan came out immediately and dealt with them. Lumina did all of the paperwork, from permitting through commissioning, and there were only a few easy forms to fill out for rebates, SREC's, and commissioning. Overall this was a very positive experience.

Perfect
We are now up and running with solar energy courtesy of Gabriel Shabtai and the Lumina Solar team. It was so easy, no disruptions and everything happened on time. So, now our utility costs have plummeted to near zero and we didn't have to do anything, including getting all the incentives. Lumina looked after us perfectly.
