Snake oil salesmen
Sold a pack of lies and half truths. Tax rebates were a lie, electricity bill benefits were a lie. No one at ADT Warranty center answers the phone. Now stuck with a $70K piece of junk. Unless you can buy the system outright and disconnect from the grid entirely, DO NOT buy solar.

ADT Solar out of business
ADT took over for Sunpro for a mire 8 months , now ADT is out of the solar business. No notice, no recommendations as to who will continue to cover any maintenance. I have contacted ADT and they can't even find my account. My install was less than one year ago. Sad and pathetic

ROOF LEAK
My roof is leaking right were the solar panels are installed. My home is only 10 years old. I contacted ADT AND enphase over a month ago and STILL have not gotten anyone out to even take a look at it. The water stain on my ceiling just keeps getting bigger!!!

How I got burned with ADT Solar.
We have had no solar production since Feb. 3, 2004 and after calling ADT Solar since that time, we continue to have no solar production; no one has returned our repeated calls to say someone is coming to check out what the issue is.

Do NOT use ADT SOLAR
Disappointment on this is not even the right description. It took the two years to pass simple inspections. My husband had to miss several days in order to have them come in the house and get them checked. ADT had agreed to pay his lost wages, now when it is time to pay, they would ONLY do it if we remove any reviews. They want to bully us to delete anything that is true. How about doing what you promise and go through with it. I am so disappointed on this process I often wish I would have never done it but once the panels were up, I heard horror stories on when they remove them, I just figured it should not take too long... Two years later here we are! The gentleman that is supposed to be helping us Tim- from the very beginning said he got to us because of my review, mind you that was a year after I wrote it! How unprofessional, now he only answers my husband, and I am the account holder. I am never insulting however I call them for what they are, they are bulling me to keep me from saying the truth and exercising my right. Is this even legal? and if it is that should be separate payment not what was promised for to reimburse my husband's lost wages. I have asked for the document to pay the reimbursement to be rewritten to the correct words and they refuse and just say take it or leave it. I asked them for: A- either write the payment is for reimbursement of lost wages and delete the removal of reviews. B- pay me to remove my reviews an amount and pay the reimbursement agreed on. Stay away from this company- they are not truthful and will bully you to their advantage. The have zero integrity and should be legally questioned in every single way possible because they are not trustworthy!

ADT take over down fall
Sunpro Solar was great until bought out by ADT. I had micro inverter go out. It was covered under warranty. Received new one but no contractors on their approved list service MS. I was advised by help center ADT is also getting out of Solar business and offered no more assistance in this situation.

Very un happy
Well sunpro put a lean on my home after installing these panels.trying to refinance my home and they put a lean on my home without my consent. Very unhappy.the words they use in your contract are ucc.which means a lein.do not buy the solar panels they put lean on your home until they are paid.if they tell u the lean is on the panels,that's not true my underwriter searchec it its on your home.dont buy from this company.

RUN AWAY
We had the panels installed less than a year ago. Our house is now falling apart and ADT has not done anything but make this a legal nightmare. One they should have never installed on our kind of roofing, which was never made know to us until today. Upon installation they negligently drilled multiple screws straight into a slated roof covered by shingles then tin. Allegedly they only snap into place on tin and never needed screws. Either way they screwed in leaving holes large enough for Water to come in and cause wood rot to the frame of our house, the walls, attic space, insulation, furniture and the list goes on. It took 3+ months of calling and a notice of intent to sue to be contacted. Yet we were not contacted by ATD, we were contacted by a random contr actor and they had been assigned for all communication. Still no contact by adt. I have had personal communication with the CEO Jamie and she is very aware of this situation and multiple others going on. Our home insurance has lapsed at this time and we are uninsurable due to the current damages by adt Solar. A tree has since fallen on another building on the property. We are begging to have theses panels removed, and payed off for by ATD to prevent further damage and to mitigate current damages. They will not. They will not fix. They tried to force us into a NDA/settlement agreement stating we HAD to sing it to be reimbursed for having our solar panels covered by a tarp. RUN FAR FAR AWAY. THIS IS A HUGE SCAM. WE ARE ALSO PAYING 208 ON TOP OF A 100+ power bill. (2 adults in the home who work 12 hour shifts) so the math does not add up. It’s all a lie, and a scam. They have made a breach the contract, caused property damage, have impended us from obtaining homeowners insurance, they have now blocked us from the sheer function they are supposed to do with out reimbursing those payments. If any attorney SPECIALIZES in this area, PLEASE HELP! WE HAVE A RETAINER READY.

Sold One Thing- Got Another.
A nightmare would be putting what we have mildly. Signed up in November 2021 for December 2021 installation. We were promised so much, and never benefited ONCE... we needed 7 panels to cover our SMALL home usage... they come in packs of 2, so we got 8 panels which should have covered MORE than we were using. We were on flat bill with GA Power and the solar loan was to replace our power bill. Over the long haul with the cost of power increasing, our loan was to make our monthly situation better and better. Our flat bill didnt renew until August 2022 so we waited patiently for that year to pass and then for us to see a lower rate due to the help the solar was providing. Over the course of the next few months we saw NO change on our power bill and yet the loan was still being paid (Double the bills).... then we find out in January 2023 that we werent even listed at the RIGHT ADDRESS!!! We fixed that assignment with the certification sign off with GA power and patiently waited for the flat bill year to expire. Meanwhile the 6K we were SUPPOSED to get on our taxes was spread out over 5 years.... the system isnt working, our bill hasnt changed... ADT has told us that we should have cancelled in the FIRST THREE DAYS to get out of our loan... it took 13 months for them to even SIGN OFF ON THE METER!!!! The attic wasnt insulated, the system hasnt helped... we didnt get a battery, the salesman doesnt work there anymore, he promised the world and we have nothing but double bills... Everything we were told about this system was a lie. We were sold a bill of goods. I called again today March of 2024 and she asked to verify the address (TWO HOURS AWAY), they never changed it!!!! We were told the system is fully functional, and yet weve seen NOTHING CHANGE.... Oh and the power still goes out when everyone elses power is off... Im done being nice.
